Seven Oddities Records came to life in early 2000. The object for the creation of it was the lack of support Underground artists received and still receive today. Chicago has much talent hidden beneath the shadows of mainstream bullshit. However much of that talent is wasted either on the streets or given up on due to lack of support from the city itself.

The idea behind Seven Oddities was to make our own label and control everything. Founder, DreamTek is all about taking care of things in house. Meaning we handle every aspect of the process. From producing sick beats, recording, mixing down & mastering, scratching, web design and album artwork. We do it all ourselves and never have to outsource to get a project done and sounding good.

The label itself has become a home for grimey Underground Hip Hop at its finest. We took a long time to establish a sound that defines us. Everybody on board has nothing but love for this culture. And we strive to keep banging out tracks that real cats can nod their heads to. You know who you are. The label has been around for a decade now. And we don't plan on going anywhere soon.
